Quinton Rampage Jackson Dominates Matt Hamill At UFC 130
Quinton “Rampage” Jackson was favored to win his bout over Matt Hamill coming into the main event of UFC 130, but Hamill made a few comments leading up to the fight that he would “break Rampage’s will”. Well he must have forgotten to do that when he entered the Octagon because Rampage dominated Hamill for all 15 minutes of the fight, and clearly showed he was the better fighter. The fight went the distance and the judges awarded Rampage a unanimous decision and left no doubt that they saw the same domination as the fans did. The fans booed towards the end of the fight because Rampage dominated the action so much that Hamill just about gave up trying any offense. This victory may set Rampage up for a title shot against Jon Jones, but ultimately that is Dana White’s decision.
