Hall of Fail Honoree: Bryant McKinnie Kicked off of Pro Bowl Team!!?!

Today’s Hall of Fail Honoree is none other than Bryant McKinnie of the Minnesota Vikings.  Mr. McKinnie was honored by making the NFL Pro Bowl Roster for the NFC as the starting offensive left tackle.  McKinnie flew down to Miami, and attended the first team meeting for the NFC, but missed practice on Friday and Saturday without notifying the coaches that he would not be there.  As a result McKinnie was removed from the Pro Bowl roster, and there are rumors of possible fines from the NFL.

Here was McKinnie’s response to the incident, “I am extremely honored to have been selected for this year’s Pro Bowl,” McKinnie said in the statement. “However my ongoing injuries in my feet and left ankle that I have encountered during the last portion of the season has hindered me during this week’s training and preparing myself both mentally and physically for this Sunday’s Pro Bowl game.”

Now Bryant we all understand injuries and the wear an NFL player experiences throughout the season, but a simple phone call to the coaches to say you are pulling out of the game would have been quite easy.  But let us take a closer look, from Mr. McKinnie’s twitter page we find what he was really up to this week.

Ummmmm Bryant looks to me like you were partying bruh, and hey look I don’t blame you.  Hosting parties with the likes of Trina and Lisa Raye, I would say f*ck the Pro Bowl too, but the failure here is common courtesy.  You don’t burn bridges at your job to party, and I believe it is a first for someone to get kicked off of the pro bowl team.  For that fact Mr. McKinnie all I have to say is welcome to the hall!!!
