People text while driving all the time and it is dangerous and annoying to most drivers. Commonly we see people looking down and engulfed into what is going on with their Smartphone just about everywhere all the time, and it leads to them running into things, people, and in some cases getting hurt. Well one baseball fan found out that updating your Facebook status while you are at a baseball game may seem safe, but Padres fan Travis Decker received a reminder that that’s not always true.
Last week at a Reds vs. Padres game Decker was attempting to “check-in” to the game on Facebook, and if you watch the video below Decker received a rude awakening while attempting to let people know he was at the baseball game. The lesson here is a sport like baseball has projectiles flying into the stands all the time, and you might want to put your head on a swivel. The ball plowed into Decker’s right shoulder and it looked kind of painful, but at least he was a good sport about it. With that being said Travis Decker, welcome to the Hall of Fail!
