That does not mean much you have to get the right mix of players, coaches, luck, and strategy to come together for a national title. We are spoiled as Hurricanes fans, you say we have not won a title since 2001 well Notre Dame has not won one in almost 30 years. Penn State has not won one since 1986, Georgia has not won one since 1980, and the list will go on. We have had a lot of success in a short period of time with that comes the expectation that we will win all the time. That just is not the case anymore, Texas for all the money they make and playing football since 1883 have only won 4 national titles; we have 5. We can’t really complain it has been a hell of a run, I think the team will be good this coming season, but I am not thinking title until 2011 – 2012.
